NEAREST CITY/TOWN: Fishtail  

RESERVATIONS: No  

DIRECTIONS: From Fishtail, Mt, take State Rt. 419 west for 0.5 miles to West Rosebud Rd. sign.  At sign, turn left and go 6.5 miles to West  Rosebud Rd. No. 72 sign.  Turn left at sign and go 8.7 miles to campground.  

NOTE: There are four entrances; first entrance is tent only.   RVs should enter campground at 4th entrance on left.  The pull-throughs are across bridge on other side of creek.  

GENERAL COMMENTS: The elevation is 5,720 ft.  

The campground is located on both banks of West Rosebud Creek in  the shadows of the Beartooth Mountains.  Visit the Grizzly Bar and  Grill in Roscoe, MT, which offers an excellent menu for a cook's  nightout.

 Open Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day - weather dependent.
