​How You Can Be Involved at The Commons

Volunteer

There are many needs for volunteers, including: 
  • Sign up to take a shift as a barista during daily operations at The Commons.
  • Teach a class or organize an event.
  • Become a coffee barista.
  • Lend help with our crafting corner.

Participate 

As can be seen from both the event calendar and the list of classes, we have a wide variety of offerings for people to enjoy.  We are in the business of creating opportunities for people to become better acquainted.  Please feel welcome to come and take part in these offerings.

Partner 

Our gross expenses for each of the past 2 years have been nearly $33,000.  While the coffee sales through the Espresso Bar help to defray these costs, we still depend upon the generosity of individuals to make up the difference.
