Each year MainStreet Commons endeavors to support the Absarokee Food Bank. In the past we have been the gathering spot for Halloween Food Drives by local youth, we have auctioned off Christmas baskets and always there is a food basket at The Commons for your donations. This year we will broaden our customary Wreath Contest into a Christmas Decor Contest, which in the end will raise funds for The Food Bank here in Absarokee. Your entry should be some fashion of Christmas decor, whether a wreath, wall hanging, table centerpiece or something else you dream up. Two prizes will be awarded. One for the item receiving the most popular votes and one prize for the item receiving the highest bid. $50 will be rewarded to each winner. Any proceeds above this will be a gift to the Foodbank. Please keep your entries family friendly and in good taste. Bring your entry to MainStreet Commons, 19 S Woodard Ave by the 30th of November. Voting and Bids will end on December 9 at 6:45pm during the Snowflake Festival.
