DIRECTIONS:
From Absarokee, MT, take State Rt. 78 south for 12.5 miles to East Rosebud Rd. (in Roscoe, Mt.). Turn right onto East Rosebud Rd. and go 14.5 miles to campground.
NOTE: East Rosebud Rd. is dirt, rocky and full of potholes - single lane in places.
GENERAL COMMENTS:
The elevation is 6,220 ft.
The campground is located in a valley of the Beartooth Mountains overlooking East Rosebud Lake. Although the area was scorched by a fire, the view remains majestic. The lake is dominated by private residences. The interior road of campground is narrow and rocky. Visit the Grizzly Bar and Grill in Roscoe, MT, which offers an excellent menu for a cook's night out.

Open Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day.
